Pogo: "Deeper Down The Rabbit Hole"

We've been waiting for The Avalanches new record for quite sometime. It was rumored that Ariel Pink will be doing guest vocals on the album. Maybe that's what is keeping it so long. Who knows. In the meantime... meet Pogo (Nick Bertke).

Nick Bertke got his start remixing Disney soundtracks from Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, The Secret Garden, etc. After many copyright issues, Pogo has just released a new EP called "Deeper Down The Rabbit Hole".

I have to give credit to Ax Fight for posting the Snow White remix, "Wishery". I had forgotten about Pogo since the first time I heard "Alice". It looks like Pogo is touring globally now.

There is much to download from this guy, but take heed... some tracks are way better than others. Some songs sound like they were made on that shabby MTV Music Generator software. And some sound like they were made on 20 different 4-track recorders that were masterfully mashed and ground into the very same pixie dust that made Peter Pan fly.
