Is Carles from Hipster Runoff a peder?

So I have to say something about my recent findings. I read HRO just like most bloggers and buzzhounds. We have yet to figure out who the character behind the mask really is [shown above].
Some say it's Tao Lin, some say it's Nick Sylvester, and some say it's merely a conceptual character for angry rock writers, like Christopher Weingarten, to write through.
He/she goes by the name of "Carles". They sells shirts that say "I am Carles". Whoever he or she is behind the mask, they understand branding & marketing enough to make mad cash while making fun of its own readers.
I've been following HRO since it was just a humble Myspace account, 3 years ago. On his profile page, he has a picture of his claimed girlfriend at the time.
Carles claims to have had a four year relationship with young Bebe Zeva. You can find that statement here. She is currently 17, according to her blogspot. It looks believable by the picture [shown above]. Do the math.
She is said to be a model for the "I AM CARLES" brand, but she is just a teenager from the internet.
Now we know why he wears the mask.
It could be said that I have too much time on my hands. But just the same, Carles.
