By the way, this album is way good as expected.

It's some good, fuzzy shoegaze that is more straight forward and melodic than their previous pieces.

Oneohtrix Point Never - "Replica"
Thesis: I believe this Oneohtrix Point Never new album to be a beautifully shattered mosaic of our glitchy selves, embracing the move from analog to digital. Much like the artist, Nurse With Wound, these broken sounds can freak the hell out of you. But be mindful, all these sounds are arranged with careful thought and purpose. There are many beautiful plateaus that give you a sense of relief throught Replica, but don't get too comfortable.
Oneohtrix Point Never is "Lopatin" of Ford & Lopatin (a.k.a., Games). Here's an older Oneohtrix track of his from 2007 to give some context.

Not only is this one of the best movies of the year, it also packs a memorable soundtrack.
This one is worth seeing a handful of times while it's still in theaters.
You might recognize the minimal synth of Desire & Chromatics influencing most of the atmoshpere.
