Finally. A new EP. They have been playing these songs around Sacramento for a while now.

I saw them last year at Sacramento's Press Club. During the set, Jessica showed frustration with Dusty's improvisation and extended breakdowns. They played a few newer songs, and Jessica admitted to not knowing all the words. Dusty and Jessica are brother and sister and I think Zac is their cousin or something. I sensed a bit of sibling rivalry and was worried about the future of the group. Seeing this new EP is a relief for me. They are too good to stop playing. I'd like to see them get a bigger stage.

Terra Lopez, of Sacramento, doesn't do just coffee houses by herself anymore. Nope. Now there is Sister Crayon. This group is a powerhouse. Keep them on your radar. Sidenote: I love the name, "Terra", spelled with two R's only. Thanks for the discovery Wendy!
