Dead Ghosts LP

Matthew Laine, these kids are from your neck of the woods. I saw these guys at SMMR BMMR here in Portland this last August. I discovered quite a few new bands that weekend and Dead Ghosts were one of my favorites. They dropped their first LP last week on Nov. 9th. Check it out. It's everything I hoped for and more. It's beachy twang reminiscent of Crystal Antlers and The Fresh & Onlys.

So many good bands coming out of San Francisco right now. Many of them came up to Portland for this event. I only went on Saturday for Young Prisms, Dead Ghosts, & Guantanamo Baywatch. I wish I could have been there the whole weekend, especially for free pizza on Sunday. You can't call it a festival. It was more like a backyard BBQ.
